Right so now that all of my early summer stuff is out of the way, I have some time to take commissions! Important things;
- I will do almooost anything but I will still turn down a request if it makes me feel uncomfortable, or if I feel like I wouldn’t be able to do it justice
- any price ranges above are dependant on difficulty of your request (simple request = lower!)
- personal commissions only not illustrations/sketches for your project, not for designing a character for you, not for a CD cover for your band, etc. - not to say I won’t do these things! if you’re interested in anything else or something like that you’re free to email me and maybe we can work something out

Hey there, I was wondering if you guys would do me a really big favour; if you could take a second to reblog this it would mean a lot to me.
My friend Patience was arrested last night following pepper spraying a woman in self defense who tried to assault her friend with a knife for wearing a shirt depicting a nun in a sexual matter, which she found offensive. She has been carrying this pepper spray for over a year, and does not use it lightly. Local papers have already reported a biased telling of this story. The woman is from one of the many military families living here, as there is a military base and while most are quite nice she’s been known to use it to mask her behaviour. My friend (and her friend) enjoy alternative dress; they are pierced and tattooed and believe this may be a contributing factor in why her story was not believed. Her other friend, the only witness, came to her defense yesterday and was charged with obstruction of justice. Someone at the store they were in initially apparently spotted the woman being irate and loud and following them out of the store.
I can tell you first hand, Patience is an incredibly kind, polite, person and a talented artist who can be pretty reserved and attacking someone without reason is 100% completely out of her character. She’s a good student as well, but where as this woman is 45 and military she is 17 and still hoping to start a career, which this could jeopardize. I know several friends who’ve had similar experiences in my town, but none this bad.
Please tweet my local paper, contact the mayor, be a pal and reblog her story, this needs to stop. She hasn’t even had a chance.

Hey folks, I’m opening up pixel art commissions! Here are the different styles I’m offering:
$5 USD TAMAGOTCHI SPRITES: An animated tamagotchi-style (so: simple!) sprite of a character of your choice! You can specify what design elements of your character you’d like to see tamagotchi-fied or I can do my own interpretation, but remember, there’s not much room for detail in these!
$15 USD RETRO POKEMON STYLE-SPRITES: Limited-palette, but fully detailed sprites in the style of Pokemon R/B/Y!
$20 USD FULL COLOR STATIC SPRITES: Large (about 100x50 at actual size) full color and detailed character sprites!
$30-40 USD ANIMATED FULL COLOR SPRITES: Prices negotiable based on complexity and length of desired animation (for example, a short, 3-frame blinking or jumping cycle would be $30, whereas a longer, more complex walk cycle or movement will be more expensive)
Characters of all types (humans, mechs, animals, furries, etc.) are acceptable, just remember that the nature of sprites means a limited amount of detail! If you’re interested, please contact me/send references via email at sgeary@risd.edu, and payments via Paypal to Nanettesuzy@AOL.com.

**IMPORTANT PLEASE READ**
This is me, my mom and my sister last Christmas.
My mom, after having dropped 20 pounds in a few weeks, was diagnosed with lung cancer this April and she is currently in stage 3. She has never smoked a day in her life, but her right lung is now covered with a tumor the size of a baseball. The cancer (which the doctors’ are still unsure of what type it is), is very aggressive and has started to spread to her lymph and a small part of her brain.
And because of many complications and the lack of urgency in the healthcare field in Oklahoma, we decided to move her to California for treatment (where all of our family lives). She has had to get 2 biopsies, 2 MRIs, 2 CT scans, and a PET scan and the chemo and radiation treatment hasn’t even started yet.
We live off a very small income by running a convenient store that my dad and my mom have owned and worked at for 18 years. It doesn’t make a lot of money, and with all of these bills will probably put us in debt for the rest of our lives. I am still in school and my sister is a school teacher, but even with her added income, it isn’t going to be enough to cover the overwhelming amount of bills we are starting to see.
Being my mother’s daughter, I have a hard time asking for any help, but this is something I feel I need to do. I am asking you, my wonderful followers and friends, the people of tumblr to signal boost this or donate. I appreciate any help, even just something small like spreading the word.

I want to finish up some outstanding art pieces that need to get done before I begin to advertise for full-on commissions— but in the meantime I have some lithograph prints left over from my printmaking class that I really don’t need to hold onto. So I’m going to just toss these out there in the chance someone would like to purchase one of these!
Print 1: $15 each. Black lithograph on white paper, measuring 7 in x 10in. I have 4 out of 5 remaining to sell.
Print 2: $12 each. Black and red lithographic print on a more textured paper marbled with bits of fabric in them. The marbling will vary depending on the paper. Measures 7in x 8.5in. I have 4 out of 5 remaining to sell.
Print 3: $10 each. Black, red and blue lithographic print on the same textured paper as Print 2. The marbling will vary depending on the paper. Measures 7in x 8.5in. I have 6 out of 7 remaining to sell.

The prices listed include the cost of me posting them via snail mail, but if you are on the other side of the world and it turns out shipping is outrageous I may ask you to chip in. I don’t think this will be much of a problem, but just putting a warning here to be sure.
I would prefer payment to be via paypal, which I will tell you after the initial e-mail but if you don’t have one and still wish to purchase a print, send me an email and I’m sure we could work something out!
(You may be noticing the prices descend as you go left to right and more color is added. The prices are such because I had trouble with alignment with the color plates— so since I couldn’t line them up perfectly where they ought to be. I wouldn’t want to charge more for colors when they aren’t lining up exactly they ought to be. It’s nothing major, the example is pretty close to what it will look like, but it’s still unaligned.)
